- In addition to concentrating her practice to trial and appellate litigation in the area of serious personal injury and wrongful death involving truck collisions, Ms. Leizerman also teaches an advanced doctrinal seminar in trucking law and practice at the University of Toledo School of Law. Ms. Leizerman also educates lawyers across the country about trucking litigation, including regarding broker and shipper liability, federal preemption issues, and the intricacies of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, as well as about how to find all of the potential defendants in the transportation cycle. - Prior to joining EJ Leizerman & Associates seven ye ars ago, Ms. Leizerman practiced law at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP for eight years. She also served as a law clerk for Hon. Mark Filip of the United States District Court of the Northern District of Illinois.
